We measure shirt lying flat- Width (armpit to armpit) and Length (top of shoulder to bottom hem)

Measure the fullest part of your chest with arms relaxed by your side. Do not include your arms in the measurement. Divide that number in half to see how it measures up to armpit to armpit. These are Gildan, adult unisex shirts, 50/50 cotton/polyester….. if you like a looser fit, you could even size up one, but these are true to size. Just check your measurements. 
Small: Width 20” - Length 26”,  

Medium: Width 22” - Length 27”,  

Large: Width 24” - Length 28”,

XL: Width 26” - Length 29”  

2XL: Width 28” - Length 30”

3XL: Width 30” - Length 31”
